Since 2005, when she first discovered moulage while studying fashion at university, Francys Saleh has been devoted to researching and teaching this art. Over the years, she has completed numerous advanced courses with leading professionals in Brazil and abroad. During her tenure as a university professor, she developed her own method for teaching authentic French moulage, establishing herself as a recognized authority in the field.
In 2014, Francys became a pioneer in Brazil by producing moulage tutorials as a columnist for Audaces, in addition to authoring scholarly articles that were published in fashion journals and presented at academic conferences.
Alongside her course development, Francys continues her academic career, teaching extension and postgraduate courses at some of Brazil’s most prestigious universities. She holds a master’s degree and is currently pursuing a PhD, deepening her research in fashion and patternmaking. Additionally, she delivers specialized lectures and one-on-one mentorships in moulage, sharing her expertise directly with industry professionals and students.
She also maintains this website, which houses over 100 articles on moulage in five languages, offering wide and free access to knowledge about this technique.
